Sorry for the long silence but I m back with a brand new Kiss Fm set.  I’ve posted the Tracklist in the “Downloads” section and you may obtain the full unedited version from the Mercury Server site . I’d like to thank John Digweed for hosting me as well as the Mercury Server crew who have kindly hosted my set.

I will be playing back in Warsaw after almost 2 years.  Hope to see everyone on the 26th at Club Klatka!

Additional dates to be confirmed for December but it seems that me and Subsky will be hosting the Debut Team’s New Years Eve Party in Budapest…we re really excited about the event and please check the site back for additional info.

The Collective EP on Bedrock has been chosen as “Top Recommended Progressive tune” of the month by the UK IDJ magazine (September ‘05 issue).
The A side of the EP “Fever” has been quoted as secret weapon by John Digweed in his interview for the same magazine.

August 2005

The new Yunus EP “Let Go / Fever” will be released on Bedrock on September 12, audio clips of the project will be available in the listen section as well as on the Bedrock site

Yunus is planned to perform in London for the Narcotic Events series on the 9th of September.
The legendary Club Kristal in Romania will host Yunus for the 3rd time on the 1st of October, more dates will be added soon.

The second instalment of “Bedrock Layered Sounds mixed by John Digweed” is out now. The compilation includes 2 exclusive downtempo projects of mine. For your information “Open Arms” has been mixed from its mid section due to the chosen set dynamics. That’s a pitty cause most of my tracks make sense only when listened as a whole, I’ll update you if “Bedrock” decided to put it out for a digital download.

I know it’s a little late but I needed to thank everyone for that truly amazing night at Dok Club, Hungary. Was it just me or did everyone feel Armageddon coming!

Despite the unfortunate rainy weather, the Olaf Palme and New Night events in Hungary were perfect, thanks to everyone who came and shared good times. Debut team is doing it right as usual.

My “Colpo Grosso” remix of “Noel Sanger feat. Dauby – Forget” is out now on Angora Records. The British IDJ magazine has reviewed it for its July issue: “...a super cool electro funk-loaded remix from yunus guvenen…”

Our 4th release Red Flag Collective (RFC4) featuring “Joshua Collins-World Keeps Turning / Espen&Elusive – Shexy” is currently available in shops. Thanks for the big positive feedback.

Last but not least, a little tease about the RFC5&6 back to back releases...this pack includes 2 of the tracks that caused resident Djs, trainspotters and clubbers to jump in the booth and ask for. The records should be available in late August/early September.

Hi to everyone and sorry for the lack of updates here are some of the things that I’ve been busy with lately.
-Just finished a remix of “Noel Sanger feat. Dauby – Forever” for the new Spleen Records label. I’ve directed myself to a new sound on that record so I hope that you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.
-Also I will be playing along with Barish Turker in Budapest/Hungary on April 22nd, please check www.debut.hu for more information.
-Thanks to everyone again in Thessaloniki, Bucharest and Bratislava, everything was perfect and hope to meet up soon.
-The new on Bedrock has been delayed a little but I will keep you updated on its exact release date.

Dear Friends,

My mandatory service in the Turkish Navy has ended as of 18.01.2005. My social and professional re-integration has happened in a sweet “tour de force” manner as I opened for John Digweed on his Istanbul performance just one week after my release. The event went very well and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire Dinamo crew (Ali, Mete, Goktug/Subsky, Muzo and everyone else who worked on the project) for showing tremendous faith and giving me the opportunity and support to prepare for such a large event in such little time. A special thanks goes to Barish Turker for providing his outstanding musical vision and thorough knowledge during the “catching up” and preparation of the event. Thanks to all again!

So here I am back preparing future new projects, getting ready to release some already signed material. The new Bedrock EP is coming out in April and there is also a double license of my downtempo/experimental pieces for the follow up of the excellent ‘Bedrock Layered Sounds’ album.

Our label RedFlagCollective is doing very well, I am going to focus onto building some exclusive material for the label, try out some collaborations with Subsky and the other members of RFC, anyway I’ll keep you updated on that.

First of all I would like to present my sincere apologies for the lack of recent updates within the past few months. These last weeks have indeed been very hectic for me at both personal and business levels.
Within this line I would like to announce that I have taken the decision to accomplish the mandatory National Service in Turkey, and thus I will be leaving tomorrow for the army and won't be returning until mid January, beginning of February 2005, so wish me luck..

It’s been now 3 years that I am being blessed with your support and I strongly hope that our complicity will continue in the future. I cannot thank you enough for this dialogue.

Also I would like to express my warm gratitude to my loving family and fantastic friends, my music sincerely reflects your support and love.

Dinamo will keep broadcasting my sets on Wednesday evenings, however my Saturday midnight spots will be filled by Barish Turker while I m away, you can check www.dinamo.fm to get exact time schedules.

Take good care of yourselves and as the French would say “a bientôt’!

• Back from Paris, I would like to thank all the people at la Villa in Paris, I never thought that I ll face such an open minded crowd in a country known for listening verry little progressive. Max and his Morphismes crew have done a great job with little ressources, thank you!
• Yunus will be playing in Istanbul and Ankara along with Subsky and Ozgur Can on March 21st and 22nd respectively
• Hungary dates set for the 4th and 5th of June, more news coming along in the next few days.
• Yunus is performing at Athens ' highly prestigious +Soda on May 8th .

April 2004:

March 2004:
• Yunus is back in the United States with 2 events scheduled on the 19 th and 20 th of March, at Enchanted Garden ( Hartford , CT ) and ARC (NYC) respectively. Please note that the ARC set will be a warm up for John 00 Fleming so please come early in order to avoid disappointment.

• Yunus Guvenen has just completed the remix of Bedrock's legendary first release “Heaven Scent” as part of the label's 50 th release anniversary package. Please expect full release by December 15th.

October 2003:
• Promo rounds of the “Headfirst EP” under the “Indigo child” moniker have been released. Full release is due by the end of November on Silver Planet Rec.
• Yunus performed at Piekarna , Warsaw , on his birthday. An unforgettable 5 hour set for a truly exceptional crowd, thanks to everyone who joined the mayhem and especially Ian, Marcin and Nermal .
• Yunus is currently working on a remix project for Bedrock Records. Release date unconfirmed but anticipated towards the end of December or start of January.
• Radio DINAMO 103.8 as began its official broadcast in Istanbul . A project built by true music lovers, Djs and producers and aimed to entertain as much as to educate all genres of electronic music listeners. September 2003:
• Yunus performed at Stardust Club in Thessalonica, Greece. Thanks to Kosta and Andy for being excellent hosts, I enjoyed everything!

• Sasha and Digweed’s live broadcast from the Colorfest Festival in Scotland included Yunus’ mashed up mix of “Wavy Gravy” as well as fellow producer mates’, Barish and Muzob’s “Adequate Medication”.
• The “Invasion” double EP on Bedrock Records will be released on the second week of August. Tracks included are “Opus34”, “Mass Schizophrenia”, “The March” and “Seyo in Blue”.

July 2003:
• Yunus hosted 34 BPM on Proton radio along with guest DJ Barish Turker. The sets are downloadable from the listen section.
June 2003:
• Subsky and Yunus have composed “Air Fuzz”, their follow up to ‘Sheltox”...this is rock music for raves...
• Yunus created and performed the music concept of the Young Turkish Fashion Designers show 2003.

May 2003:
• Yunus performed at Piekarna in Poland along with Dj Steve Gerrard.
• “34 BPM” on Proton Radio, Sunday May 4th at 19:00 (Istanbul time); 17:00 (London time).
Dj Fuchs, Subsky, Mehmet Korutürk and Yunus Güvenen will begin hosting “34 BPM”. The show will be broadcast on the first Sunday of every months and will be dedicated to the sound of the Istanbul Underground. The second hour of the show will be dedicated to up and coming Turkish musicians as well as international talents.
